About the founder:
Daniel Scordato

Creator of famed Italian restaurant Vivace in Tucson, Arizona

Daniel Scordato, a seasoned restaurateur with 51 years of success in Tucson, aims to leverage his expertise by transforming a historic building, The Treasury 1929, into a sophisticated banquet hall with a focus on unparalleled atmosphere, quality food, and unique event experiences.

About the Food:

The culinary program at The Treasury 1929 is shaped by owner and chef Daniel Scordato, whose restaurant Vivace has remained one of Tucson’s most respected fine dining institutions for decades. Known for polished service, exacting standards, and Italian cuisine done at a high level, that same care carries into the food served here.

A busy theater lobby filled with people, including men, women, and children, during what appears to be the early 20th century. The scene shows a grand hall with tall columns, chandeliers, and balconies, with people standing in line and chatting.

About the History:

Built and designed in 1929, the rare historical design of this building offers an environment that is lavish and timeless. Ornate chandeliers hang from the intricately hand painted ceiling in the main hall and tall columns reach from the floor to the second level mezzanine. Once a bank, The Treasury 1929 boasts three vaults that have been transformed into beautiful rooms. One vault upstairs is decorated for the Bride & Bridesmaids to get ready and enjoy light refreshments before the wedding. A second vault downstairs has been transformed into a lounge for the Groom and Groomsmen to prepare and relax on the big day. A third transformed vault is located in the downstairs Speakeasy and offers a unique setting to enjoy libations.
